Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakkil (rh) narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Ibrahim narrated to us from his father from Muhammad b. Abi `Umayr from Hammad b. `Uthman from one who heard Aba Sayyar say: I heard Aba `Abdillah al-Sadiq (as) say: Gabriel (as) came to Yusuf (as) when he was in prison and said: “After every obligatory prayer, say: ‘O Allah! Grant me relief and deliverance and give me sustenance from where I expect and from where I do not expect (Allahummaj`al li farajan wa makhrajan warzuqni min haythu ahtasibu wa man haythu la ahtasib)’ three times.”
